A Transition in the Restoration Children’s Ministry

I would like to share some news with the Restoration family that is both wonderful and sad.

For the past year and a half Restoration has been blessed to have a wonderful Children’s Ministry Director, Robin Floch, on our staff. She has organized a great children’s ministry team while developing and putting together curriculum for each class. It has been a real joy to see Robin love our kids while nurturing their spiritual growth in Christ.

The beautiful news is that four days before Christmas, Robin was proposed to by Sam Turner. Sam is answering the call to ministry himself and began seminary this semester at Trinity School for Ministry in Pennsylvania.

This leads me to the unfortunate news:  March will be the last month Robin will be with us as our Children’s Ministry Director. However, she will continue to worship with us as a part of our church family until August when she will move to Pittsburg as Mrs. Robin Turner.

We are starting work on finding Robin’s replacement in order to have a smooth transition from one Children’s Ministry Director to the next.

I ask all members of the Restoration family, with and without children at home, to please pray for this process. Pray for Robin as she beings a new chapter in her life. Pray for us as we search for a new director. And pray that we can find the right person quickly and begin a smooth transition this spring.

If you know of anyone who might be interested in being our next Children’s Ministry Director, please put them in contact with me. Robin originally joined our staff because someone had mentioned to her that we were looking for a new children’s director. One thing is for sure—the Lord has a plan for all of us!

Though this is the end of a chapter in our life together, we look to the future with great hope for both Robin and Sam as well as the Children’s Ministry at Restoration.

Blessings,

Jed
